CNC machine tool acceptance after repair is an independent verification carried out on the client’s side — before you sign the acceptance protocol and approve the service invoice. The question is simple: did the repair actually restore accuracy, or were only parts replaced. We answer it with measurements and document the result in a technical report. We qualify the acceptance scope individually — it depends on the machine, the scope of the repair performed, on-site conditions and available equipment.

Best — before signing the acceptance protocol, when the machine is already assembled and commissioned but the matter is formally open. What the scope covers

  • analysis of the repair scope performed (what the service declares it has done),
  • measurements tailored to the repaired assemblies — e.g. axis positioning after ball screw replacement, geometry after guideway regeneration,
  • assessment of repeatability and backlash in the areas covered by repair,
  • laser positioning measurement — after agreeing scope and availability,
  • reference of results to the pre-repair condition if baseline data exists.

What the scope does not cover

  • we do not accept electrical or safety work,
  • we do not replace the service acceptance protocol — we document the condition independently,
  • we do not issue calibration certificates or formal ISO calibration opinions,
  • we do not guarantee that the machine after acceptance will meet process parameters — the report describes the measured condition.

What the client receives — technical report

The report compares the declared repair scope with the measured condition: measurement results with units, interpretation (whether the repaired assemblies work as expected) and a list of points requiring explanation or correction. It is a document that actually strengthens the client’s position — before payment, not after.

Yes — it is even recommended. An independent measurement with both parties present ends disputes about “whose method is correct”.

The report indicates specific deviations and areas — you then have a basis for a claim, re-adjustment or withholding payment.

Do you perform a “before and after” measurement?

Yes, if you contact us before the repair — the baseline measurement significantly increases the evidential value of acceptance.
