CNC machine assessment after relocation answers the question that arises after every move: does the machine work the same after relocation as before transport. Dismantling, transport and re-installation can change levelling, geometry and sometimes axis positioning — even with a careful crew. Our assessment documents the post-relocation condition in a technical report. We qualify the scope individually — it depends on the machine, purpose, on-site conditions and available equipment.

When it is worth ordering

The ideal moment is after the machine has been installed and commissioned in the new location, but before full production ramp-up. It is also worth ordering when symptoms appear after the move: change in part dimensions, repeatability problems, unusual vibrations. What the scope covers

What the scope does not cover

  • we do not perform levelling or adjustment — these are installation tasks,
  • we do not accept electrical, pneumatic or safety installations,
  • we do not issue calibration certificates; the assessment is not a formal ISO calibration,
  • we do not guarantee that after adjustments the machine will regain parameters — the report documents the measured condition.

What the client receives — technical report

The report documents the post-relocation condition: levelling, geometry and positioning measurement results with units, interpretation against the expected condition and recommendations (e.g. scope of re-levelling, foundation check, further diagnostics). It is also a reference point for the future — subsequent periodic measurements can be referred to this document.

When can the assessment be performed after relocation?

After mechanical installation and machine commissioning. The machine should wait for temperature equalisation — details are agreed when qualifying the scope.

Do you assess machines relocated from abroad?

Yes — this is a common scenario when buying a used machine with dismantling. Travel is agreed individually.

What if the moving company damaged the machine?

The technical report documents the measured condition and deviations — it can form the basis for a claim against the transport contractor or insurer.
